How Long Do Aluminium Doors And Windows Last?
Aluminium is one of the toughest materials used to make windows and doors and has a lifespan that’s measured in decades. You can expect your new fittings to last twenty years or more.
Isn’t Aluminium More Expensive Than uPVC?
It depends on the nature of the project, but generally speaking, yes aluminium costs more than uPVC. However, it makes up for this with longer lifespans and tougher frames, so if you can afford the initial upfront cost it’s well worth it.
Is Aluminium Environmentally Friendly?
Yes, it’s one of the most abundant metals on the planet and comparatively easy to recycle. All of our windows and doors are made with recycled aluminium and can themselves be recycled, so they won’t end up in a landfill.
